Learn the fundamental rules with visual guides and detailed explanations
The pickleball court measures 20 feet wide by 44 feet long, with a non-volley zone extending 7 feet from the net on both sides.

Official paddles must not exceed 24 inches in length and 8 inches in width. Balls must have 26-40 holes depending on indoor/outdoor use.

All serves must be underhand, delivered diagonally cross-court, and land in the proper service court.

Doubles scoring uses three numbers: serving team score, receiving team score, and server number (1 or 2).

Players cannot volley the ball while standing in the 7-foot non-volley zone on either side of the net.
